February signifies the start of longer days, warmer weather and occasionally a hint of spring in the air. For Team DeadLegz, it's business as usual. It is also the month of love, or more accurately, Valentines Day. We are celebrating all things love related on February 15th with an event in the nearby village of Alvechurch at their lovely village hall. We have planned for some great local artists to play their music as well as an amazing catering company to come in and feed you all. Tickets are on sale and are modestly priced at £20 and it is all for a bit of fun and good causes. We recommend you get your tickets early as there are limited spaces.
Buy Tickets! Go on do it now. I'll wait...

Okay, tickets done? Good.
In other news, since people have asked, we have decided on a monthly newsletter to keep everyone updated on our antics and actions. We aim for this to be released as close to the start of the month as we can. Perhaps the nearest weekend, we're still working out the details and the format.
Since the last update, DeadLegz along with Peter Martin of the "Drop The Knife" campaign attended a "Tackling Mental Health Together" event and spoke to a number of people about promoting good mental health as well as telling people about what we are doing as our challenge and with Peter.

DeadLegz are going to become rowers. Yes, it's clearly going to be the case regardless, but Worcester Rowing Club has invited us to a rowing open day to discuss joining them on a 10-week course to make us rowers. This is in March, but it's so exciting I'm putting it here. Sorry future me, you'll have to find something else to talk about for the next newsletter.
We're also speaking to another charity that we want to help. This will probably be our third and final charity for the Atlantic challenge as we don't want to spread the funds too thin. We believe this will be a good balance of charities that are all close to our hearts, and helping them with their own campaigns will be something we can be proud of.
Many thanks to those that have liked and shared our posts. Thanks to the BBC for putting us on their website for us to show people. We are proud of what we do and want people to see. Thank you to local Councillor Juliet Barker Smith and to Chris Bloore for your kind words and support.
We will see you at our Valentines event.
