ROB OLIVER

Skipper

Rob, an accomplished musician and a familiar face on the local music scene, was the original founder of DeadLegz.

Rob is the foundation of the DeadLegz group and as such was the perfect choice for the boat skipper position.

MATT HUMPHRIES

Crew

Matt joined DeadLegz for the first challenge, and has been active in charity endurance and fun-run events throughout the years.

Having known Rob for the best part of 20 years, he was a natural to bring on board for this challenge.

TOM HAYWARD

Crew

Tom is the latest addition to the DeadLegz crew. Tom has an amazing mechanical mind and will be an asset to the already strong team.

KEV JOYNES

Crew

Kev is a powerhouse of charitable events, co-running a local festival and a community champion in his local area.

Kev's knowledge and experience will be invaluable for this journey across the Atlantic.

Campaign Manager

Debbie Joynes, one of the co-founders of the local GlastonBeoley Community Festival is well placed to help us achieve our goals. She is well versed in rousing a team to achieve their goals.

TOM OLIVER

Support Crew

Tom is a qualified civilian glider pilot with plenty of aeronautical miles under his belt. He achieved his solo glider licence at the age of 16 and his knowledge of weather patterns makes him a natural choice for supporting the team while they are at sea.

JAMES & JO HAUGHTON

Personal Trainers

James and Jo offered their help to the team in addition to Valhalla. They have been helping the team with joint mobility and rehabilitating old injuries that may have hampered the crew at sea.

They run the Personal Training Gym, Viking Performance in Tardebigge.

NICK SPENCER

Personal Trainer

Nick offered to train DeadLegz for their 2025 Atlantic Challenge and has been putting the team through the rigours of getting their bodies ready for the row.

Nick is one of the owners of Valhalla Gyms in Redditch
